TeenyTiny Fundraiser for a teenytiny fella!

Hershey is a crazy-cute, 3-pound, purebred chihuahua who was scheduled to be euthanized yesterday in an Oklahoma shelter. Thanks to Chelsey, who found him and told me about him, and Grace, who went to pull him and let him crash at her place, he's on his way to Toledo to be fostered by my husband and me.

Today and tomorrow only, all proceeds from TeenyTinyCollars (and leashes) will go toward Hershey's vet care. No custom orders will be part of the fundraiser, as I'll be away from the computer a lot over the weekend.

Hershey thanks you for your support, and promises to share photos with you as soon as his big road trip is over!

We can never seem to predict which designs will be our best sellers, but three have emerged as leaders of the pack.

Bestseller #1: Hedgehog Family. Made of imported ribbon, this one is a real hit with boys and girls. Everyone loves the metal clasp and chocolate webbing. This one only comes on small and large collars.

Bestseller #2: Burberry Plaid. This is made with real Burberry ribbon, and can be made with red or black webbing beneath. Very snazzy for boys or girls, classic, preppy, and oh-so-chic. We're blinging out this best seller soon, we've just finished the testing. Oh, and it comes in small and large.

Bestseller #3: Tiffany Dot. We have several sizes of Tiffany Dot, and there is limited availability on this particular one. It literally flew all over the country as soon as it was introduced. Again, a good choice for boys and girls. Very striking on most coat colors, and a big compliment-getter. My 16-year old dog, Benny alternates between this one and the Burberry Plaid. He can't decide which he likes best. These come in tiny, small, and large.

Welcome to TeenyTinyCollars! My pack of rescue dogs and I design and sew fun, funky dog and cat collars. We've got preppy collars, mod collars, blingy collars, holiday collars, and lots of cute, one-of-a-kind pieces! Each piece is handmade and a limited edition, so if you see something you like, snap it up quickly.

We specialize in comfortable but strong collars in 3/8", 5/8", and 1" widths, for pets from 2-200 pounds. We started out making small dog collars, specifically for small dogs, with lightweight, comfortable webbing, smooth seams that won't rub your dog's neck the wrong way, and attractive but durable hardware. When the big dog owners felt left out, we started making big collars just as pretty and comfortable as our tiny collars. All of our collars are incredibly strong, and quadruple-stitched at every seam.

Our TINY (3/8" width) collars can be made for cats or dogs, just specify which species you're buying for in the "notes" section of your order. Cat collars come with breakaway buckles.

Our SMALL and BIG collars come with our dressier metal buckles (at your request, lighter-weight, more casual plastic buckles are available). All of our collars are backed with lightweight, comfy nylon webbing for strength and durability.

Comfort and safety are just as important to us as style. Our materials and methods have been tested and approved by our own dogs. Our collars are not meant to be used with tie-outs, and non-breakaway collars should not be used in kennels. All cats need breakaway collars only, never a collar intended for a dog.

Teeny Tiny Collars are handmade in our home workshop, which is smoke-free but not pet-free. Because almost everything is custom-made for your dog or cat, collars may take up to two weeks to ship. Please contact us if you need something shipped right away and we can try to accommodate you.

Be sure to check out our custom-made leashes and key fobs as well, and if there's something you want that you don't see, just check in and see if we can help out!

Please always include your pet's neck measurement in the "notes" section of your order, and after you receive your collar, let us know how it fits. We aim to please and want to know if you have any problems with anything we've made.
